Just als wir in Tromsø waren, gab es in europäischen Medien die Nachricht, dass Sommarøy die Uhrzeiten abschaffen will. Mit der Begründung, im Sommer sei es sowieso den ganzen Tag hell, da bräuchte kein Mensch Uhrzeiten. War natürlich eine Ente, denn Sommarøy hatte sich das Wochen vorher als PR-Gag einfallen lassen. Hinterher tat es ihnen fürchterlich leid und all so ein Quatsch. Nicht mal richtige Eier haben die Verantwortlichen auf Sommarøy, lächerlich. Wenn man einen Gag macht, dann steht man auch gefälligst dazu. Scheiß asoziale Netzwerke. Nur weil einer im Angesicht eines dräuenden Scheißesturms die Hosen schon vorher voll hat, wird sich gleich tausendmal entschuldigt. Was jetzt bleibt, ist nichts weiter als die Erinnerung an einen kargen Felsen im Meer mit rückgratlosen Verantwortlichen. Wenigstens haben wir ihnen mal gezeigt, was ein Hammer ist und wo er hängt.
Just when we were in Tromsø, there were news in the European media that Sommarøy wants to abolish the clocks. With the argument that in summer it is light all day and night anyway, nobody needs clock times. It was a hoax or fake news, of course, because Sommarøy had come up with this as a PR gag weeks before. Afterwards they were terribly sorry and all that nonsense. The people in charge at Sommarøy don’t even have any real balls, ridiculous. When you do a gag, you have to stand by it. Fucking antisocial networks. Just because a guy is scared in the face of a shit storm, doesn’t mean he has to apologize a thousand times. What remains now is nothing more than the memory of a barren rock in the sea with spineless responsible persons. At least we showed them what a hammer is and where it hangs.
