Blattgold

Aller Unkenrufe zum Trotz, bei Tumblr war mehr Kunst. Was ich damit sagen will, auch wenn sich dort der Bodensatz unserer Gesellschaft scharte, gab es erheblich mehr Nutzer, die sich für die gemäßigt-anstößigen Inhalte interessierten. Wobei anstößig natürlich auf Amerika zu beziehen ist, ein paar Brüste zählen in Europa eigentlich (noch) nicht zu verderbten Inhalten. Drüben ist das anders, vor allem es gibt keinen Unterschied, ob ich eine Frau zeige, die von ihrem Schäferhund besprungen wird, oder eine, die ihr Kind stillt, beides ist angeblich anstößig. Tolle Wurst, das Stillkind ist der Kollateralschaden.

Die stillende Mutter aber nicht nur die. Jegliche Kunst, die in irgendeiner Form Nacktheit nutzt, ist automatisch anstößig, wie lachhaft. Aber auch harmlose Aktfotografen so wie wir sind sofort gebannt, auch wenn wir die Bilder weglassen, die man gemeinhin unter eher pornografisch subsummieren könnte. Womit ich beim Thema bin. Auf Tumblr sind jene Inhalte am erfolgreichsten gewesen, die (wie unser Dekolletee) eher zu den harmloseren Vertretern erotischer Fotografie zählen. Auf WordPress hingegen, wo sich (jedenfalls offensichtlich) viel weniger Perverse tummeln, sind es ausgerechnet die anderen Inhalte, die die größte Aufmerksamkeit bekommen. Nicht, dass ich das werten wollte, in unseren Augen sind beide Arten von Bildern schön, wir lieben jedenfalls beide und werten nicht in moralischen Kategorien, allenfalls in ästhetischen oder auch erzählenden. Blattgold gehört zu den harmlosen Bildern, aber wir hoffen, ihr mögt es trotzdem.

Beatgold

Despite all the prophecies of doom, Tumblr was more art. What I mean by this is that, even though the sediment of our society was growing there, there were considerably more users who were interested in the moderately offensive content. Whereby offensive of course is to be referred to America, a few breasts in Europe are not (yet) actually spoiled content. Over there it’s different, especially there’s no difference if I show a woman being jumped on by her shepherd dog or one breastfeeding her child, both are allegedly offensive. Brilliant job, the breastfeeding child is the collateral damage.

The nursing mother but not only that. Any art that uses nudity in any way is automatically offensive, ridiculous. But even harmless nude photographers like us are immediately spellbound, even if we omit the images that could generally be subsumed under pornographic. Which brings me to the subject. On Tumblr those contents have been most successful that (like our décolleté) belong to the more harmless representatives of erotic photography. On WordPress, on the other hand, where there are (obviously) much fewer perverts, it’s the other content that gets the most attention. Not that I wanted to judge, in our eyes both kinds of pictures are beautiful, we love both and do not judge in moral categories, at most in aesthetic or narrative ones. Gold leaf belongs to the harmless pictures, but we hope you like it anyway.
