Grüne Hölle

Synonym für vieles (Vietnam, Parteitag der Ökos, Nordschleife des Nürburgrings) und nun auch bei uns. Es ist eine Kategorie von Bildern, in denen das Grün mindestens einen Teil des Bildes dominiert.
Um noch einmal kurz auf den Wasserfall in Geiranger zu sprechen zu kommen, das im Hintergrund nennt der Eifeler »Wasserfall« und wie schon gesagt mit großem Parkplatz und kleinem Imbiss in der Nähe. Nur zum Geoparkzentrum muss man zweieinhalb Kilometer wandern. Der gilt dann auch nur am Rande den Irreler Wasserfällen, eher mehr der Teufelsschlucht. Von daher stehen die Eifeler den Blauenthalern in nichts nach, wenn es darum geht, ein bisschen Geplätscher aufzubauschen, in dem man Wasserfall dazu sagt.

Gibt es die grüne Hölle als feststehenden Begriff auch in anderen Sprachen?

Green Hell

Synonym for many things (Vietnam, party congress of ecological party, north loop of the Nürburgring) and now also for us. It is a category of pictures in which the green dominates at least a part of the picture.
To talk briefly about the waterfall in Geiranger again, in the background the Eifeler calls this „waterfall“ and as already mentioned with a large parking lot and a small snack bar nearby. Only to the geopark centre one has to walk two and a half kilometres. This is only valid at the edge of the Irreler waterfalls, rather the Devil’s Gorge. Therefore, the Eifelers are in no way inferior to the Blauenthalers when it comes to puffing up a little splashing by saying waterfall.
